For more than 25 years Patrice Hector has tamed some of the most influential manes in the country. Hector first sharpened her shears under the tutelage of master hair stylist Tom Harris of Decatur, Georgia. Her bi-coastal career has led her to be featured on Lifetime’s reality show Head To Toe and has also allowed her to become a lead hair stylist for several production and video companies. In addition, she has worked as a national educator for Paul Mitchell Hair Systems, Design Essentials and Nairobi Hair Care products and currently she is a senior stylist at SoKai Salon in Atlanta, GA.

In 2010, Patrice created the HBOX™ DAILY RECORDS & BOOKKEEPING DIGEST specifically for hairstylists. This journal helps the busy hairstylist track their daily assets and liabilities, costs, client services, how much they pay and gratuity all in one place. She realized that in order to do all the things she needed to do on daily basis, she had to be organized and financially aware. This tool has helped her allocate her personal and professional resources more effectively, measure her results, create more realistic schedules and better manage her goals and objectives. She included some of her most favorite inspirational quotes, along with phrases of encouragement, to assist her in staying on track and achieving optimum success. Patrice began sharing this tool with co-workers and other hairstylists. The Planner was in such great demand that she started conducting workshops for individual salons and has now moved on to introduce her Planner at local and national hair and trade shows.

Patrice has developed a reputation as a master colorist with emphasis on maintaining beautiful, healthy hair. Her mantra is “When you look great, ULTIMATELY you FEEL great!” Known as a “people person” Hector enjoys working with diverse people and spending quality time with her family, especially her beloved daughter, Miah.
