Greetings from the Ultimate Stylist:
Fall is upon us, and I have noticed some of my clients with a little more dryness on their scalps. In order to keep your hair healthy and avoid or control dry hair or scalp, make sure you are conscious of what you are putting into your body. Health and Fitness is the not only the key to looking good but feeling good as well. What you put inside your body will surely show on the outside, and will impact your skin, scalp, and nails. Let me suggest that you increase your intake of H2O and eat lots of fruit and vegetables, cooked or raw. I drink half my body weight in water. I remind myself to stay consistent by setting my alarm on my cell phone every one to two hours throughout the day. I try not to drink water after 7 p.m., so as to avoid using the bathroom all night and disturbing my sleep; proper rest is also critical to good health. Since I am in the salon, I sit under the hydration dryer to help my hair stay moist and strong. This not only hydrates my hair, but my skin gets extra moisture in the process. I have seen personal evidence of this and have also noticed a big difference with some of my clients.
