I often witness clients who do not take the time to comb and condition their hair properly. This happens mostly with natural hair, but there are ways to prevent this outside of salon care.
To make hair soft and shiny after shampooing, gently blot your hair with a dry towel. Then mist your hair with an anti-humectants and separate strands with a wide toothed comb or a paddle brush. For longer lengths, it is easier to divide into four sections and comb or brush through, staring from the ends up to the roots. Using this method helps to prevent breakage. Remember hair is most fragile when it is wet. In order to maintain beautiful and healthy hair, it is imperative that you give your hair some “TLC” .
