Medium and longer length styles are ALWAYS cute and classic, no matter what season you are in.  A Bob can be cut blunt, layered or asymmetrical. Smooth, curly, two strand twist, roller set, flexi rods; you can just about do it all!  Bobs can be styled on relaxed or natural hair.

MAINTAINING YOUR LENGTH: STEP BY STEP.

  1. Wrap your hair nightly with a silk or satin scarf or pin curl your hair by taking large sections and pinning them in place.  *FYI: Don’t do small sections because your hair will be too tight*
  2. The easiest way to wrap your hair is to wrap it to the opposite side that your wear your weight.  Comb down in a mushroom style.
  3. Part your hair at the ear and brush with a paddle brush.
  4. Smooth around and pin as you go.
  5. When styling, brush your hair down with a paddle brush and apply a little Morrocan oil to add moisture and shine.  Be careful not to apply to much product because you don’t want to weigh your hair down.
  6. Just like wearing short hair, if you work out or have an active lifestyle, prep your hair prior to working out the way you would do prior to going to bed.  If you sweat a lot, let your hair air dry before combing it down.  If you need to go somewhere immediately, use a cool blow dryer and blow your hair dry or sit under a hooded dryer.  If you have to bump, only bump areas that need some heat with a ceramic flat iron and make sure you keep the temperature low, around 300-325.
